1. Who we are: We are EcoGoodz, a used goods supplier located outside Seattle, Washington, USA. We are a company with integrity and a proven record of reliability.

2. What we do: Thrift stores and charitable institutions receive far more donations than they can possibly resell. That’s where we come in; we purchase their excess and/or unsellable donations. We then pass those goods on to other entities, often in developing nations, where they can be distributed and used. Our efforts have helped to keep millions of tons of wearable secondhand clothing and shoes out of landfills across the U.S.

3. What we do matters: According to the Council for Textile Recycling, thrift stores and charities in the USA handle 3.8 billion pounds of used clothing, used shoes, and other textile donations each year. Of that 3.8 billion pounds, only 10-20% is able to be resold in store. The rest must be disposed of somewhere. If thrift stores did not have an outlet for excess donations, the unsold 760 million pounds of used textiles would enter the waste stream and be sent to landfills every year (and this is on top of the 25 million pounds that Americans already throw away rather than donate or recycle!). EcoGoodz helps keep usable clothing, shoes, toys, linens, and other goods out of landfills by purchasing it from thrift stores and passing it on to others who can use it.

4. Products we offer: EcoGoodz offers a variety of used goods, all sold my weight. We offer two categories of wholesale used clothing. The first is credential clothing, untouched donations in their original bags. Credential used clothing is baled and is ungraded. It is not unusual to find shoes, accessories, purses, and belts mixed in with men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. The second category of wholesale used clothing we offer is mixed rags. Mixed rag bales are comprised of donated used clothing that was unfit for resale due to imperfections, or was offered for resale but didn’t sell. In addition to used clothing, EcoGoodz offers used shoes, bulk linens, accessories such as purses & belts, soft toys, and hard toys. Our used shoes are always paired and can be placed in either capsacks or gaylords. Bales of bulk linens are made up of bedsheets, comforters, blankets, towels, and other household linens. Hard toys come in gaylords while soft toys are baled.
